Karachi – Reports of an alleged attack on Mufti Taqi Usmani, the prominent Islamic scholar and Grand Mufti of Pakistan, have been confirmed as false. The spokesperson for Jamia Banoria, Mufti Taqi Usmani’s institution, issued a statement clarifying that the information circulating about the attack was completely baseless.
The spokesperson further explained that Mufti Taqi Usmani is currently abroad and is both safe and secure. He urged the public not to pay attention to such rumours and refrained from spreading false information.
The clarification comes after reports sparked concern, but authorities have assured the public that the respected scholar is unharmed and in no danger.
