A viral video circulating on social media recently claimed that a bomb had been detonated at the main entrance of a police station in Maira Surezai, a suburban area of Peshawar. The clip suggested that armed unknown individuals had attacked the station, causing widespread concern among viewers.
However, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police have swiftly dismissed these allegations. In an official statement, the police authorities clarified that the claims of a bombing and attack on the police station are entirely false. They confirmed that no such incident had occurred in the Peshawar suburb.
It turns out that the above-mentioned claim is completely false and baseless. Social media users and ordinary citizens should also be cautious about fake news.
